IMS-UCC’s main purpose is to promote and educate the use of technology in the field of health care to students, faculty and healthcare professionals. This will be done by providing lectures, demonstrations and workshops with the new technology in order to be abreast of the rapidly growing field of medical informatics. IMS-UCC will do this in focusing on three key areas:

1. Use of technology to improve the process of medical education.
2. Use of technology in preparation for board examinations.
3. Use of technology in the medical field as healthcare professionals
